From 28th September 2026 cross channel ferries between Great Britain and Ireland will reguire an up to date passport for travel.. The Hollyhead- Dublin and Rosslare -Pembroke rotes are affected. This applies to Stena Line and Irish Ferries

From 25th February 26, an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) will be mandatory for travellers who currently don’t need a visa. This includes visitors from 85 countries, such as the US, Canada and France.
Without an approved ETA, travel to the UK will not be permitted.

This service will operate up to five times weekly From May 26 Aer Lingus will also launch a new service to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, bringing the airline’s total number of routes from Ireland to North America to 24.
